Banking Law Forum 2024
On 5 November 2024, the Banking Law Forum 2024 of the Austrian Association for Bank Research took place in the auditorium of Raiffeisen Bank International AG, with lectures on green finance (lecturer: Prof. Dr. Dörte Poelzig, University of Hamburg, chaired by Dr. Katharina Gamharter), implementation of the EU Representative Actions Directive (lecturer: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Georg Kodek, President of the Austrian Supreme Court of Justice, chaired by Dr. Alexander Russ, attorney-at-law), sanctions law and banks (lecturer: Priv.- Doz. MMag. Dr. Martin Oppitz, attorney-at-law, chaired by Dr. Norbert Findeis) and the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (lecturer: Univ.-Prof Dr. Christoph Herbst, attorney-at-law, chaired by Dr. Luciano Duque-Cordero).
